What's Happening

March 12 (Wed): QCGC Board Meeting at 10:00 am, Kino Saguaro room. All members are welcome. Bring comments, questions, and suggestions about the Club.

Our Genealogy Club enjoys friendly discussions and information.  We have exchanges that extend members’ knowledge of genealogy, research options, and methods. Experience the thrill of uncovering your lineage and family history. Learn from residents highly experienced in genealogy and well-known guest speakers. We heartily welcome QC residents and visitors with all levels of experience, from beginner to expert.

The Club meets the first Wednesday of every month at 10:00 am, in the Ocotillo Room. From September to May we have monthly speakers.  During the summer months, we meet for educational workshops. Four times a year, workshops are held on the third Thursday of the month at 1 pm.

Guests are invited to attend two meetings before becoming members. Dues are $15 per year.  The year begins on January 1.  Workshops for non-members are $5. So, if you are wondering: "Who are my ancestors? Where did they come from? Then this is the club for you.

At the left is our QC Genealogy Club logo.  It is a picture of a family which was taken in 1857. From this family a six-generation lineage flowed, with more than 28,000 direct relatives. Thousands of them are still alive today.  They were joyfully linked up by a team of *amateur* genealogists.  They used all of the modern lineage-researching methods, tools and options which our club teaches to its members.
