What's Happening

Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 10:00 am, in the Kino Center Ocotillo Room: Roots, Rumors & Records: Because every family tree has a branch that refuses to cooperate.

Pull up a chair, it’s roundtable time.

This is your chance to sit down with fellow researchers and talk shop; what’s working, what’s not, and everything in between. No lecture, no formal agenda. Just people who love genealogy sharing ideas and helping each other out.

We’ll swap tips you don’t usually find in beginner guides. The type that's learn after looking for records that don’t exist, or finally breaking through a stubborn brick wall.

How do you find records that were never digitized? What do you do when the courthouse burned down? Where and what are the best free resources?

We’ll also compare notes on forms, tools, software, and new technologies that are shaping how we do this work.

Bring your questions, your favorite worksheet/s, your frustrations, and your successes. Hopefully, you'll leave with new idea/s and, maybe, even a breakthrough.
